The aim is to deploy artificial intelligence (AI) to detect preictal phase of seizures (PIPS) in patients suffering from epilepsy. PIPS defines as the time before the generation of epileptic seizures which is electrical activities of the brain recorded by electroencephalogram (EEG) technique. Successful detection of PIPS will augment prediction of seizure attacks. Precise diagnosis of PIPS in real-time will help us to administer certain antiepileptic therapy to subside the seizures.
Our algorithm can help patients with neurological conditions with diagnosis, prognosis and therapy response predictions. It can also enable remote at home monitoring of seizure patients.
